Edward Johnson trained in Martial arts in U.S. Army from 1960 to 1962, Sankukai Karate style.

In 1967, I Continued training under Sensei, J. Jones at Hyde Park YMCA, Shorei karate.

I instructed Martial Arts at Loop college in Chicago from 1969 to 1970.

I received my first official black belt at University of Illinois at Chicago, in Taekwondo karate in 1972.

I Stopped training for over 20 years. I continued at the People's Church on 48 th and Wabash, in Chicago IL. in 1998.

In 1989, I was made 2 degree black belt by sensei Stan Mc Kenney at St Mark's Catholic Church, 1044 N Campbell.

In 2000, I also taught at Mt Carmel Church at 2968 S. Wabash, in Chicago IL.

I still teach and learn karate under the directions of Grand Masters, Otis and Preston Baker and grand master Stan Mc Kenney at several different schools in and around Chicago IL.

ADJUNCT FACULTY
M. A. Degree in Human Relations. Member for the International Academy of Design and Technology.

I teach Cultural Diversity. I involve students in the process of learning different cultures through understanding and accepting their differences.
