New laws for martial art tournaments in Illinois?

QUESTION:
I heard that there are new laws for all martial art tournaments in Illinois. Supposedly, you
have to have a Doctor at each ring and all competitors must be examined before and after
each event. Also, there must be an ambulance on site for the entire tournament. Each
tournament must be sponsored by a promoter. All judges, scorekeepers and
timekeepers must be licensed. My understanding is that this is aimed at MMA
competitions but the way the law was written, it has trickled down to ALL martial art
tournaments. Anyone know if there is any truth to this?

My sons have attended tounaments for five years in illinois. This they have shut down all
sparring events so far in illinois . The rest of illinois traditional karate tounaments have
moved to wisconsin and indiana...
